Continental has broadened its gravity range with 13 additional tyre combinations. The update brings Soft and SuperSoft rubber to more tread patterns and wheel sizes, giving riders more ways to match compound, casing and terrain.
More choice for mixed-wheel bikes
A key addition is the 27.5-inch Kryptotal Front with an Enduro casing and SuperSoft compound. Previously, that combination was limited to the 29 × 2.4-inch version. The smaller option is relevant to riders who need a grippier front tyre without changing wheel size.

The new list uses ETRTO sizes 60-584 and 60-622, corresponding to the 27.5-inch and 29-inch wheel formats respectively. Always check the full size printed on the tyre when ordering.
The new combinations
Xynotal gains Enduro SuperSoft and Trail Soft in both listed wheel sizes. Kryptotal Front gains the 27.5-inch Enduro SuperSoft and Trail Soft versions.

Kryptotal Rear gains Enduro SuperSoft and Trail Soft in both sizes. Argotal adds Enduro SuperSoft in 27.5 inches, plus Trail Soft in 27.5 and 29 inches. Those additions make up the 13 new combinations announced on 6 August 2026.
Price and local buying checks
Published recommended prices are ≈ R1 636, ≈ R1 667 or ≈ R1 756 for Enduro SuperSoft, and ≈ R1 391, ≈ R1 423 or ≈ R1 488 for Trail Soft. These are overseas prices, not South African shelf prices.
When buying locally, specify the tread, casing, compound and wheel size together: the same tyre name can refer to quite different constructions. Local stock and pricing were not established in the supplied announcement. No performance score is attached to this range update.
