Pinarello’s Dogma XCT gives its cross-country platform a more marathon-oriented build. It shares the race frame with the Dogma XCR, but changes the cockpit, tyres and finishing kit to favour confidence and comfort over an uncompromising race-day position.
Race roots remain
The XCT pairs a 120 mm Fox 34 SL Factory fork with 100 mm rear travel from a 210 × 50 mm shock. Its 68° head angle makes clear that this is still closely related to an XC race bike, rather than a short-travel enduro machine.

The TorayCa M40J carbon frame is equipped with Shimano XTR Di2, DT Swiss XRC1200 wheels and Maxxis Rekon 2.4 tyres. A Race Face Era C 780 mm handlebar and 40–50 mm Turbine SL stem give a shorter, wider cockpit. Fox Transfer dropper travel ranges from 120 to 150 mm.
Unlike a lockout-focused race build, the XCT does not use remote or electronic suspension lockouts. Extra spacers and a neutral-rise stem create a taller hand position without changing the underlying frame geometry.
Understanding the names

The former Dogma XC becomes the Dogma XCR. The “R” indicates the race-oriented build and “T” the more trail- and marathon-oriented specification.
Below the Dogma models, the XCR9, XCT9 and XCT7 use a different carbon lay-up and less expensive equipment while keeping the same overall geometry and frame layout. The XCT9 specification includes TorayCa T900 carbon, Shimano XT Di2 and DT Swiss XR1700 wheels.
Published South African prices

Unlike most launches in this batch, the supplied announcement includes rand figures: R300,000 for the Dogma XCR, R270,000 for the Dogma XCT, R174,000 for the XCR9, R160,000 for the XCT9 and R130,000 for the XCT7.
These are the published launch prices from 17 September 2026, not a confirmation of today’s dealer stock or final quotation. For local marathon riders, compare fit, tyre clearance, gearing and the actual build before deciding whether the XCT approach suits your riding. This is a first look, without a tested performance score.
